CBRM Recreation Reschedules Festival&Event Meeting to Feb 15

Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) Recreation staff will be holding an evening session for all non-profit festival and event groups that will be holding events during the 2017-18 budget year. In the 2016-17 budget year, over 40 groups accessed funding for their festivals and events for a total exceeding $340,000. The session will focus on funding applications for all non-profit groups.

The session has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 15th, at 7pm at the City Hall Community Room. This space is located on the waterfront side of City Hall, 320 Esplanade, Sydney. The session will focus on applying for Festival and Events Funding through the CBRM Community Facilities Grants and Contributions Policy, as well as accessing in kind services from the department.

CBRM Recreation staff encourages all Festival and Events groups to attend the sessions.
