CB Council of Seniors & Pensioners Dec. Meeting (-)

The Cape Breton Council of Seniors and Pensioners  will hold their December meeting on Wednesday the 6th at North Sydney Seniors and Pensioners Club beginning at 12 noon.  There will be an election of officers for the Seniors Council and since there are retirements vacancies will need to be filled. Please give this your utmost consideration in order to keep the work going. Fun follows with food, entertainment and prize draws including a 50/50 All clubs are asked to help with the food and prizes. It a great time and all are welcome. See you there!

Join local author Lea Doué for readings from the latest book in her Firethorn Chronicles - The Red Dragon Girl.

Princess Melantha is done with court life. After suffering humiliation at her sister's wedding, she's determined to find her place outside palace walls and far away from fickle princes. Hearing rumors of a curse breakable only by a red-haired girl, she says goodbye to her eleven sisters and sets out on her own.

About the author:

Lea is the author of The Firethorn Chronicles, a series inspired by fairy tales and other classic stories. Homeschooling and writing take up most of her time, but she also enjoys directing a small puppet team at her church. A native of South Georgia, Lea currently lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her husband, their two boys, and three cats. But, sadly, no dragons.
