CBRM Sustainability Grant Application 2010/2011 (147 kb)
To be completed by all organizations seeking funding from CBRM.  While there is no deadline for the submission of applications, organizations are encouraged to submit their completed information at their earliest convenience.

Affidavit Of Value Form (87 kB)
In accordance with the Deed Transfer Tax By-Law, as a purchaser of real property (a grantee), you must complete a Deed Transfer Affidavit of Value form regardless of whether you will pay deed transfer tax or not.

Low Income Municipal Tax Exemption Form (58 kB)
Low-Income property owners may be granted a maximum yearly tax reduction of $125.00 if the criteria is met.

Municipal Service Application (76 kB)
An application must be completed for municipal water, sanitary/storm sewer and driveway access. For further information, please contact the CBRM Public Works office at 902-563-5180.

Pre-Authorized Payment Form (135 kB)
The Cape Breton Regional Municipality offers its customers the ability to have their tax and water bill payments made by preauthorized bank debit. Download the form and complete it in its entirety and enclose a VOID cheque. Incomplete forms will be returned.

Subdivision Approval Application (51 kB)
Any property boundary change (i.e. division, consolidation, or boundary adjustment) is considered a subdivision in the Province of Nova Scotia. This is an Application for Subdivision Approval to be submitted to the Development Officer of the CBRM.

Subdivision Approval (Final) - Application for Statement of Plan Registration (102 kB)
This form is to be completed by a surveyor or lawyer to accompany any application for subdivision approval.

Taxi Driver's License Application (108 kB)
No person shall drive a taxi for the purpose of transporting persons for hire in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality unless the person has a valid Taxi Driver's License issued pursuant to the Taxi By-law. Click here for more information on the By-Law.

Taxi Owner's License Application (108 kB)
No person shall own and operate a taxi for the purpose of transporting persons for hire in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality unless that person has a valid Taxi Vehicle Owner's License in respect of the vehicle issued pursuant to the Taxi By-law.  Click here for more information on the By-law.

Vending Machine License Application (58 kB)
A License to operate an automatic vending machine is required in compliance with the Automatic Vending Machines By-law.  Click here to view the By-law.

Vendor's License Application (92 kB)
No person shall vend or trade goods in the Municipality without having obtained a license to do so. A license to vend or trade is required for each vending stand or vending vehicle to be operated in the Municipality in accordance with the Vendors By-law.  Click here to view the By-law.
