Kelly Lake

We had an enthusiastic group show up for the walk and tour on August 6. Many thanks to our ACAP CB eco-educators, Katie and Caitlin, and Hannah MacDonald who took the picture. The Kelly Lake intake is just behind the group.

 

Kelly Lake, the drinking water source for the community of Louisbourg, lies northwest of the community. The Kelly Lake watershed includes Stewarts Lake, Gull Lakes, Morrisons Lake, Peters Lake, MacLeans Lake, MacDonalds Little Lake, and all the lands, ponds, streams, and stillwaters which drain into Kelly Lake.
