Pine Tree Estates

This well, located on the site of the former RADAR Base in Lingan Road, pumps about 24,000 gallons of water per day to approximately 250 residents of Pine Tree Park.

 

Pine Tree Estates Groundwater Protection Plan

CBRM is operating the water treatment plant for Pine Tree Estates on land leased to them by New Dawn Enterprises Ltd. As the system is owned by New Dawn Enterprises, the water utilty is not required to prepare a groundwater protection plan as a condition of a permit from NS Environment. Eventually a formal plan will be developed, but currently the utility operates on best management practices.
