Water Rates & Regulations

The CBRM Water Utility is regulated by the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NSUARB). The current rates and regulations were approved by the NSUARB and became effective on August 1, 2011.

The Utility develops applications for rate & regulation changes approximately every 5 years. All applications for changes are reviewed and approved by CBRM Council prior to hearing before the Board.
