With a community support framework, CBRM Recreation supports hundreds of community organizations to execute their festivals, events, and programs in their area. CBRM Recreation also delivers first class programs and events aimed to build vibrant communities and sustainable activity.

Volunteer Awards

Volunteers are one of the greatest assets a community can hold. The CBRM Recreation Department annual recognizes the outstanding efforts of individuals, groups, and youth who provide exemplary volunteer service in the CBRM.

Volunteer Award nominations are open year round with the consideration deadline in early April. All nominations after the consideration date will be rolled into the next consideration period.
