Paws to Read at the McConnell Library!  Do you know a child who needs encouragement to read? Maybe a reading therapy dog can help. Reading therapy dogs and their handlers are trained volunteers certified by the Therapeutic Paws of Canada. The Paws to Read Program matches children who have trouble reading with an audience that won’t judge their reading skills. Children have fun and gain confidence reading to an excellent listener.  The Paws to Read teams are at the McConnell Library on the first Saturday of the month (November 5th and December 3rd).  Parents can register their child for a 20 min. session with one of the Paws to Read teams.  For more information, or to register, phone the library 562-3161.     Nov11
