CBRM Meetings and Minutes

Regional Council and its Committees meet in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 320 Esplanade, Sydney, NS. All meetings are open to the public, unless it is noted as an In Camera (in private) meeting pursuant to the Municipal Government Act.

Council usually holds two regular meetings per month: the second Tuesday (at 6:00 pm) and the fourth Tuesday (at 9:30 am).

Minutes are the official record of the meeting, and once approved are posted with the corresponding agenda, and video where available.

NOTE: Due to technical difficulties, the quality of the video during the months of January and February 2019 was impacted. This problem has now been corrected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Upcoming meeting notices and agenda outlines are typically available by the Friday prior to a Council meeting. Full agendas that include reports and presentations are usually posted the day before the meeting. Minutes, once approved, are posted with the corresponding agenda. Live and archived video are also linked below when available. Archived video, if applicable, will be available within one week of the meeting date.
