Propane Tank Disposal
Residents are reminded that Propane Tanks are not accepted curbside and will not be collected during heavy garbage collection. Propane tanks are also not accepted for disposal at the Waste Management Facility on SPAR Road.
- The small 1 pound or picnic size propane tanks can be returned to CBRM’s Residential Household Special Waste Depot at no charge.

Residents who have more questions about Heavy Garbage Collection are encouraged to contact the Waste Management Hotline at (902)567-1337. Educators are available to respond to inquiries from 8:30 am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
