CB Transit Update

Several updates due to continuing weather and road conditions.  

Route 1 : Last Sydney to Glace Bay run leaving at 2:00pm. Last Glace Bay to Sydney run 2:00pm.

Route 3 and 4 : Last Run leaving at 2:00pm

Route 5:  Last Trip to North Sydney leaving at 2:00 no return trip.

Route 8: Last run to Whitney Pier leaving at 2:00pm

Route 9: Last Run leaving for Daley Rd at 2:00pm

Route 10-13 Last Run leaving at 2:00pm. Last trip to Alexander Street leaving at 2:30pm

Route 11-12 Last Trip to Ashby at 2:00pm. Last trip to Sydney River 2:30 

CBU Evening Buses have been cancelled.

Handi-Trans during Scotties

Handi-Trans will be available as per normal schedule with extended service on Sunday, Feb 17th and Sunday, Feb 24th until 10pm for the 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Handi-Trans can be booked as usual through the Handi-Trans line: 902-539-4336.

Centre 200 update

Centre 200 office will close at 2 pm today. Tickets may still be purchased at tickets.capebreton.ca

Centre 200 box office hours update:

On Thursday, Feb 14th, the box office will be open from 9am-6pm, for those looking to purchase Scotties tickets!

APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROGRAM

The Cape Breton Regional Municipality’s Commercial District Improvement bylaw allows property owners undertaking new commercial developments in certain areas of the Municipality to apply to have the increase in property taxes resulting from these new developments to be phased in over a period of five or ten years, depending the scale of the development.

You may be eligible for the incentive if the location of your proposed development is within the geographic boundaries as defined in the by law.  

Any property owner wishing to be considered for this Development Support Program must first complete this application form.
